ALPORT of Muskoka, also Marriage of Edward Bishop ALPORT c 1881, son also Edward Bishop born c
1885. Have 1871 census details. Augustus, Episcopalian but believe
he changed to Presbyterian while in Orillia, Margaret Presbyterian. So Baptisms and
Marriage could have taken place in either church!

MCLEAN/RANKIN
I am seeking information about Angus and Agnes
McLean, parents of my grandmother, Margaret born in Severn Bridge,
December 21, 1869. She married James Rankin of Medonte Township, January
8, 1889. Their daughter, Mary, married my father William McLean of the
John McLean line, who settled in 1832 near Jarratt Corners. I'm
interested in finding out if there is any connection between the two
McLean families.
